Pregnancy is the perfect time to connect to your core

 

So much change happens within the core during pregnancy. As your baby grows your internal organs are pushed in every direction, this causes everything to shift around in your body, making movement and breath more difficult.

 

The internal pressure created by your growing baby plays havoc on your pelvic floor and deep abdominal muscles  causing the fibres to stretch and weaken, this unfortunately can cause core and pelvic floor dysfunction postpartum.

 

We don’t want this to happen!

 

Being CORE CONFIDENT in pregnancy will help you:

 

  • Maintain optimal core function

  • Avoid a server diastasis recti postpartum

  • Make postpartum incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse less likely

  • Prevent or diminish aches or pains associated with pregnancy

  • Improve posture

  • Enable you to push your baby more efficiently during labour

  • Prepare you for your postpartum recovery

  • Enjoy a happier and healthier pregnancy

 

There isn’t much we can control in pregnancy but core control is one of them.

CORE STRENGTHENING PERSONAL TRAINING

Training under my expertise and professional guidance, I will help you strengthen your body to support the changes within your core as your pregnancy progresses

 

Everybody will receive:

 

  • 'Core Confident in pregnancy information booklet containing everything you need to know about your core in pregnancy.

  • Full prenatal health screening and referral process with top women's health physiotherapist​

  • Video tutorials and resources for ongoing  support

  • Nutritional advice

  • 25% discount from online core rehabilitation and diastasis recti program

All sessions are 1 hr. Live from Hitchin and surrounding areas or virtual.

 

1st session: £50 (including consultation, movement and core strength analysis)

Package of 6 sessions: £270

CORE STRENGTHENING GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES

Team up with a few friends or NCT mates for a weekly core strength and stability low impact workout.

Everybody will receive:

  • 'Core Confident in pregnancy information booklet containing everything you need to know about your core in pregnancy.

  • Full prenatal health screening and referral process with top women's health physiotherapist​​

 

All classes are 1 hr. Live from Hitchin and surrounding areas or virtual.

Classes are purchased as a 6 week block booking: £72 per person

Feel free to form your own group or contact me to be added to an existing group.

CORE STRENGTHENING WORKSHOP SESSION

Learn about the importance of core strength in pregnancy and its relationship to diastasis recti

postpartum. 

Everybody will receive:

  • 'Core Confident in pregnancy’ information booklet containing everything you need to know about your core in pregnancy.

This workshop is educational, physical, interactive and sociable.

Perfect for NCT or any other private prenatal groups or just a group of friends wanting to learn more!
